She has interviewed Morgan Heritage, Ziggy Marley, Common Kings, Nahko, Tanya Stevens, SOJA, Cocoa Tea, and Inner Circle on-air. You could almost say that Melody doesn’t just play music—she lives and breathes a lifestyle. 2018 took her live sets to a residency at the Mai Tai Bar Ala Moana, Jumanji in Shibuya, Japan as well as Ute Ute in Tahiti. Her most current mixtape, "Sugarcane", was released in May 2016 after a Pacific Coast tour. Melody's playlist is a compilation of Hawaiian and island, reggae, top 40’s, hip hop, afrobeat, Buddha bar, and lounge. In 2019, you can catch Melody performing live in Japan, Tahiti, and across the West Coast.
Melody's character isn't simply limited to what she does in the sound booth - she pursues her passion of positively influencing the lives of others by helping children. In Hawaii, she ran a statewide non-profit called YES Hawaii. Melody also spent time in Jamaica volunteering at the Jamaica National Children’s Home where she shared music, food, love, and laughter with the children. Currently, Melody is focusing on her new business Fetia Pearls. This jewelry line featuring Tahitian pearls allows Melody to travel and do philanthropy work assisting children and elderly in Hawaii, Tahiti, Jamaica, and Japan.
